Terry Smack
Owner
Terry Smack was born in Maryland, raised in Georgia and came back to Maryland in 1977. She has been in the automotive industry most of her life, from delivering auto parts, managing a parts house, running a mechanic’s shop, and working in the salvage industry. She also has almost 20 years experience with tag and titling.

quickly and efficiently and helped to save money. With her drive to have her own business and with her top notch customer service skills, she opened the doors to the first Terry’s Tag & Title Service in Finksburg on January 13th, 2003.
As time passed Terry knew that convenience was a large part of the success of the Finksburg Terry’s Tag & Title. She started looking at other areas to branch out and her good friend Marcia Duffy of State Farm Insurance suggested the Columbia location saying “If you build it they will come”. The Columbia branch opened on January 10th, 2008 and Columbia residents have opened their arms and embraced the title service.
With the location in Columbia underway, Terry focused on completing construction on the Eldersburg branch and opened its doors April 7, 2008. With its diamond plated counters and garage feel, the new Terry’s Tag & Title brought excellent customer service, client convenience and low prices to Eldersburg. Kim Mercer, Terry’s business partner has put her heart and soul into making this location as successful and popular as the Finksburg and Columbia locations.
Today, Terry, Kim and staff continue to strive to make people smile and believe that they really can get tags in ten minutes!

Jessica
Office Manager
Jessica has been employed with Terry's Tag & Title Service since 2005. She is a Carroll County resident and graduated from Westminster High School. Jessica is continuing her education at Strayer University and plans to graduate in August 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in business management and a minor in human resource management. |

Carolyn
Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant
Carolyn has been employed at Terry's Tag & Title Service since April 2008. She is a life-long Carroll County resident, graduating from South Carroll High School. Carolyn attended a 12-month business course for accounting prior to her employment with Terry's Tag & Title Service. Carolyn was also in the banking industry for over 15 years in the loan servicing area. |

Kim
Title Clerk
Kim is a Carroll County resident and a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. Kim has been employed with Terry's Tag & Title Service since 2004. She has been in customer service for seven years and has taken education courses at Carroll Community College. |

Maggie
Title Clerk
Maggie has been a resident of Carroll County all her life. She is a graduate of Westminster High School and began working with Terry in the tag and title industry in 1999 while attending Carroll Community College (CCC). After graduation from CCC with an Associates Degree, Maggie attended Towson University, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. |

Title Clerk
Josie has been employed at Terry’s Tag and Title since October of 2005. A Carroll County resident for most of her life, Josie graduated from Westminster High School and I received her Associates Degree at Carroll Community College. She recently earned her Bachelors in Business Administration from Strayer University. Josie has been in the customer service industry for over 10 years. |

Ken
Telecommunication Coordinator
Retired, Ken held the positions of vice president, treasurer, and part owner of a wholesale flooring distribution company in the Baltimore area from 1960-1980. He is also a former member and president of the Westminster Common Council. |
